If you have never heard of Amazon Mom let me explain...
It is just an extension of Amazon Prime. The Prime membership gives you FREE 2-day shipping on all prime items, unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows, you get to check out one free book a month on your kindle, and you are also able to sign up for Subscribe & Save. If you are not a Prime member when you sign up for Amazon Mom you have the option to pay the ($79.00) to become an Amazon + Prim member, this gives you all of the perks of Prime as well as all of the deals that you get for being a mom member. Amazon Mom gives you everything you need in one location. At this point you might be saying to me, "But Kristi, I can get everything I need in one location at Target or Walmart too, so what's the difference?" The difference is, when you go to Target to get a pack of diapers you more then likely don't leave with just a pack of diapers, you find 4 or 5 things in the dollar section right when you walk in the door, and then, in order to get to the diapers you have to go by or through the baby clothes section and you know you will NEVER make it out of there without something accidentally falling into the cart. So to avoid a $100 bill at checkout shopping on Amazon is the way to go. Also if you have multiple children sometimes running to the store to just get diapers is just out of the question. With Amazon Mom you can get 20%off of diapers wipes and other baby items with Subscribe & Save. Amazon Mom gives you 15% off of the items in the Amazon Baby store and signing up for Subscribe & Save gives you another 5%.
When you use Subscribe & Save you select what items you want to have delivered to your door and you tell them how often you would like it to arrive and Amazon takes care of it for you every month so you don't have to think about it. As en example I subscribe to Diapers and Wipes, they show up at my house every month during the first week of every month and I never have to go to the store to pick any up. I don't always use all of what gets delivered so that helps build up a stockpile for those times when you need more then normal.
Amazon Mom..... In my opinion it's worth every penny. The downside is that I have a million boxes in the garage that need to go to the recycling center, but I think that that is a small con to all of the pros that go along with this program.
When you first sign up you get to try it out for 3 months for free. YOU CAN"T BEAT THAT!!! Amazon wants you to know that "Despite the name, you don't need to be a mom to join. Amazon Mom is open to anyone expecting a baby or caring for a baby or young child, whether you're a mom, dad, grandparent, or caretaker. We just thought "Amazon Primary Caretaker" didn’t have the same ring to it."
